This image is a 100% build from OpenATV source code.
OpenATV 5.3 uses Gstreamer 1.8.0 which will give better DivX and IPTV stream playback.
You can safely use the online update function, I tricked the driver date 100 years in the future so the present (and working) drivers are not overwritten during update.
It's a 100% clean image !

i have install obh 0.4 on multiboot but stay on openmultiboot interface when dreambox boot, if i want to boot on obh 0.4)


this image is big and install it on flash ONLY with flashexpader

1)On zip there is nfi file to flash it
when flash image ,go plugins and install flashexpader on ext4 usb.
after reboot edit /etc/fstab and mount usb stick as /usr.
reboot (/usr directory have move to usb)

2)on extra zip folder there is two folders with the name of directory to move the inside folders.
3) reboot , enjoy

I've built new unofficial images for testing purposes based on OpenPLi.

These images are my work and not in any way supported by the PLi team.

Keep in mind that these images are experimental and I've only tested few of them.

So use them at your own risk.

So what's new compared to 2016-03 release:


- Gstreamer 1.8.0 stable release for all receivers (including spark)
- New bootlogo by .:MarcinO:.
- Upgrade OpenVPN to 2.3.8.
- Upgrade OpenSSH to 7.1p2.
- Upgrade OpenSSL to 1.0.2g.
- Upgrade vsftpd to 3.0.3.
- Patched and bumped Python due to OpenSSL not supporting SSLv3 anymore.
- Upgrade Japhar-IPTV List to 1.6.
- Upgrade rtmpdump from oe-alliance and let it provide librtmp as well.
- Upgrade ffmpeg to 3.0.1.
- Using christophecvr's multibox dvbmediasink with the following changes:
* Patch from mx3L to ensure PES is written with PTS, see: http://forums.openpl...ndpost&p=539836
This fixes potential freezes on Xtrend receivers, possibly others as well.
* Workaround christophecvr for fixing certain mkv files with DTS audio, see: http://forums.openpl...ndpost&p=540985
* I changed the dvbaudiosink on sh4 to always run in async mode, this fixes most of the freezes I get when stopping a video.
This is only changed for sh4 (spark/spark7162), not for other receivers.

Hopefully the V2 models are now working again.

- Spark: It should be possible again to install addons/plugins from the gui.
- Spark: add Taapat's flash-tools and mountspark script.
